Who We Are
The Design Institute of South Africa serves as the national platform for leadership, collaboration, and professional development within the communication and interior design sectors.
DISA operates at the intersection of creativity, industry, policy, education, and community development. Through strategic partnerships and sector-wide engagement, the Institute champions the value of design in addressing complex social, economic, environmental, and cultural challenges.
DISA works closely with its sister organisation, the Design Alliance South Africa (DASA), to strengthen South Africa’s broader design ecosystem across multiple creative disciplines.
